About Peggy
A lifetime of breaking barriers — now writing about the women who did the same
Peggy Hadley spent decades as a single working mother travelling the world in high-tech industries, negotiating with foreign governments and military officials — nearly all of whom were men. Doing business across cultures was one challenge; doing it as a woman was another.
Along the way, she kept thinking about young girls who had no idea what was possible for them — brilliant careers they’d be perfectly qualified for, if only someone had told them those options existed. That thought became the Awesome Women book series: a collection of true stories celebrating the brave, brilliant, and groundbreaking women throughout history who defied expectations and changed the world.
When she’s not writing, you’ll find Peggy transporting rescued dogs to safety at weekends, singing her heart out in her choir, and enjoying her family and life.
